We host a variety of events to support and encourage socialisation within the community, from dancing to gardening to school holiday fun.

OuR HISTOrY

Weavers was started by local parents who wanted a safe place for their children to play

Since 1974 the local authority has continued to lease the land to the Weavers playground association, which is a registered charity (267157).

FuNDING

Since 2010 we have seen a significant drop in our government funding

Since the pandemic, it has been harder to secure traditional sources of funding, so we are asking for your help to ensure we can stay open and keep serving our community.
